The TUDOR Monarch is a remarkable tribute to a century of watchmaking excellence, celebrating 100 years of craftsmanship since 1926. Unveiled at Watches & Wonders 2026, the return of the Monarch name combines vintage-inspired design with contemporary Master Chronometer performance.

Measuring 39mm in diameter and just 11.9mm thick, the Monarch makes an immediate impression with its finely faceted octagonal case and seamlessly integrated bracelet. A polished bezel and sapphire crystal complete the refined exterior, balancing elegance with everyday durability.

The true highlight, however, is the Monarch’s distinctive dial. While understated at first glance, it reveals a wealth of character upon closer inspection. TUDOR has chosen a California dial layout, with applied hour numerals set against a warm papyrus-coloured backdrop. This unique configuration combines Roman numerals on the upper half of the dial with Arabic numerals on the lower half, creating a striking aesthetic that pays homage to vintage timepieces while remaining unmistakably modern.

At the heart of the watch is the MT5662-2U automatic movement, certified as a Master Chronometer by METAS, one of the most rigorous standards in Swiss watchmaking. First introduced to TUDOR’s collection with the Black Bay Ceramic in 2021, this advanced certification guarantees exceptional precision, magnetic resistance, and overall performance.

The movement’s impressive finishing and engineering can be admired through the Monarch’s exhibition caseback, offering a glimpse into the technical prowess that defines this anniversary timepiece.
