Paying tribute to the first OMEGA worn in space by astronaut Walter Schirra during the 1962 Sigma 7 mission, the Speedmaster CK 2998 faithfully recreates this iconic timepiece. Honouring its historic legacy, each watch in this Speedmaster sub-collection features the original OMEGA Seahorse medallion on the caseback, engraved with the inscription: "The First OMEGA in Space October 3, 1962."

While faithful to the original design, it is powered by the upgraded OMEGA 3861 manual-winding movement, combining vintage character with modern performance. A true classic, it is the closest contemporary interpretation of the original timepiece.
