Meisterstück X Olympic Heritage Chamonix 1924 Classique Fountain Pen

In celebration of the Meisterstück centenary in 2024, Montblanc pays tribute to the origins of its iconic writing instrument with a collection inspired by the spirit of the Olympic Games Chamonix 1924. By a remarkable coincidence, 1924 marked both the launch of the Meisterstück and the first Olympic Winter Games, held in Chamonix at the foot of Mont Blanc.

At their core, Montblanc and the Olympic Games Chamonix 1924 share a pursuit of exceptional human achievement, represented through master craftsmanship and sporting excellence.

The Classique edition is crafted from precious resin in a blue-grey tone, reflecting the official colour chosen for the Winter Games. Its handcrafted solid Au 585 / 14ct gold nib is embellished with a ski jumper, referencing a vintage Olympic poster from that year.

The Olympic Rings form part of the Olympic Heritage logo engraved on the cap-top ring, surrounded by a wreath of leaves reminiscent of those presented to victors at the Olympic Games of Antiquity. The cap is engraved with the words ‘Olympic Games Chamonix 1924’ within a frame inspired by the cover of the official Games report.

The anniversary cap ring bears the dates ‘1924’ and ‘2024’, highlighting the significance of both years. Crowning the edition is the iconic Montblanc emblem, set into precious coral-coloured resin – a signature colour of the Maison.
