In 2021, Montblanc pays tribute to the visionary Enzo Ferrari, a legendary racing driver, pioneering entrepreneur, and the force behind Scuderia Ferrari, the iconic racing team and global automotive empire. Known for his relentless pursuit of excellence and speed, Enzo Ferrari’s legacy lives on as a symbol of performance, innovation, and passion.
Crafted from red precious resin, this special edition writing instrument reflects the origins of Enzo Ferrari’s love for motor racing. Its bold hue is inspired by Rosso 70 Anni, a custom red developed to commemorate Scuderia Ferrari’s 70th anniversary, a shade that unites decades of Ferrari’s most iconic red tones. The cap top is crowned with the Montblanc emblem, set against a yellow background and encased in a metal grid, a nod to Ferrari’s birthplace, Modena.
The reverse side of the cap features the iconic Prancing Horse—the emblem that has come to define Ferrari’s unmistakable identity. The metal clip is engraved with one of Enzo Ferrari’s most powerful quotes: “You cannot describe passion, you can only live it.” Finally, the cone of the pen is engraved with two significant dates marking milestones in Enzo Ferrari’s early career, grounding this tribute in the very moments that sparked a legacy.
