Combining performance, style and a rich diving heritage, the Breitling Superocean takes inspiration from the iconic Slow Motion dive watch of the 1960s. Originally designed to meet the demands of scuba divers, the Slow Motion featured a pared-back design with bold luminescent hour markers, distinctive squared-off hands and a high-contrast dial for maximum legibility underwater. The modern Superocean retains these celebrated design elements while introducing contemporary features, including a scratch-resistant ceramic-inlaid bezel, vibrant dial colours and improved functionality.

Designed for both underwater exploration and everyday wear, the Superocean offers water resistance to 300 metres (1,000 feet), along with excellent resistance to shocks, sand and saltwater. Broad hands and hour markers coated with Super-LumiNova® ensure outstanding readability in low-light conditions. The bronze models feature a specially developed corrosion-resistant alloy that gradually develops a subtle patina, giving each watch its own distinctive character.

Available with a choice of rubber strap or metal bracelet, the Superocean features a folding clasp with up to 15 mm of micro-adjustment, allowing a comfortable fit over wetsuits. The durable ceramic-inlaid bezel is designed to resist scratches and fading, with a unidirectional rotating bezel on most models and a bidirectional bezel with a patented locking mechanism on the 46 mm version.
