The Superocean Automatic 44 draws inspiration from the iconic 1960s Slow Motion, a pioneering dive watch stripped of all but the essentials to serve divers’ lifesaving needs. Today, that legacy continues with a modern tool watch that balances robust performance with contemporary design.
Housed in a 44mm stainless-steel case with a coordinating bracelet, this model features a scratch-resistant ceramic unidirectional bezel for safe dive timing and a deep black dial designed for maximum legibility. Broad hands and indexes coated in Super-LumiNova® ensure clarity in any light, while water resistance to 30 bar (300 metres/1,000 feet) confirms its underwater credentials.
The folding clasp offers micro-adjustment for a secure, comfortable fit, even over a wetsuit. Inside, the Breitling Calibre 17 automatic movement delivers reliable precision, making this timepiece as dependable in the ocean as it is on land.
