TAG Heuer Monaco Evergraph

Reshaping Greatness with the New TAG Heuer Monaco

The history of TAG Heuer’s iconic Monaco spans more than half a century, from its inception in 1969 as a tribute to the Monaco Grand Prix to its storied legacy as a companion to stars such as actor Steve McQueen and racing world champion Max Verstappen. Faithful to the Maison’s founding principles of technical innovation, the TAG Heuer Monaco has pushed the boundaries of watchmaking convention since its release, known for its eye-catching design and distinctive square case – at the time, among the first of its kind in a chronograph.

Unveiled at Watches & Wonders 2026, the Maison has brought to life a new generation of its iconic collection with the release of five models: three TAG Heuer Monaco Chronographs, powered by the new Calibre TH20-11, and two TAG Heuer Monaco Evergraphs that house the new Calibre TH80-00. Both developed in-house, these new movements deliver unparalleled durability, reliability, and precision, launching the next chapter of TAG Heuer’s avant-garde chronograph mastery.

Reimagining an Icon: The TAG Heuer Monaco Chronograph

No watch captures the spirit of innovation and adventure quite like the TAG Heuer Monaco Chronograph, a timepiece that symbolises daring design rebellion as much as it embodies technical excellence. This iconic, angular silhouette has now been reimagined for the next generation, featuring dynamic lines and enhanced ergonomics with a new movement – the Calibre TH20-11 – that delivers exceptional performances on the wrist.

Dare to be Different: A Unique Design

The latest additions to the TAG Heuer Monaco Chronograph collection represent the perfect synthesis of legacy and innovation, honouring the iconic designs of their predecessors whilst enhancing functionality for the modern wearer.

Measuring 39mm with a thickness of 13.9mm and lug-to-lug width of 22.5mm, the new TAG Heuer Monaco Chronograph is housed in a grade-5 titanium case that is both fine-brushed and polished, promising lightness, durability, and ergonomic comfort on the wrist. In keeping with previous models, the crown is located at the left-hand 9 o’clock position; originally a necessary constraint of the Calibre 11, the uniquely-positioned crown has become a signature design statement.

The dial, available in blue opaline or sunrayed, brushed green or black, is encased within the TAG Heuer Monaco’s emblematic square bezel, featuring two chronograph subdials at 3 and 9 o’clock. The primary dial displays the time with applied indexes – red for the hours, white Super LumiNova for the smaller integers – whilst Arabic numerals appear within the two chronograph subdials, complete with an angled date aperture at 6 o’clock.

The TAG Heuer Monaco Chronograph is attached via a black, perforated calf-skin leather strap, secured with a titanium pin-buckle folding clasp. Water-resistant up to an impressive 100m and built to handle shocks, accelerations, and active wear, these three new models represent the next generation of Monaco and reflect TAG Heuer’s unwavering commitment to chronograph mastery.

Building upon Legacy with the Calibre TH20-11

To power this exceptional timepiece, TAG Heuer has developed an equally impressive movement: the Calibre TH20-11, designed and created in-house.

Derived from the Maison’s Calibre TH20-00, this new version – given the “-11” suffix as a nod to the historic Calibre 11, the original automatic chronograph movement – is the result of years of work redesigning the mechanism’s display and winding system. It retains signature aesthetic markers from the original Monaco design – a left-sided crown and a two-register dial display – whilst simultaneously representing a clear technical departure from the Calibre 11, replacing the previously modular Buren base construction with a fully integrated chronograph architecture.

With an extended 80-hour power reserve, smooth chronograph operation, and enhanced reliability enabled by bidirectional winding, this innovative new movement ensures superior performance for the newest generation of TAG Heuer Monaco Chronographs.

Designed to Win: The TAG Heuer Monaco Evergraph

For those who seek the pinnacle of avant-garde horology, the TAG Heuer Monaco Evergraph represents the Maison’s most ambitious vision yet. This is a timepiece designed for adventurers, thrill-seekers, and enthusiasts who demand nothing less than absolute precision, exceptional reliability, and uncompromising durability – a watch built not merely to keep time, but to win.

Superior Design, Superior Performance

The TAG Heuer Monaco Evergraph is a masterclass in technical artistry, where form and function unite in perfect harmony to create the ultimate timepiece. Measuring 40mm with a thickness of 14.51mm and a lug-to-lug width of 22.59mm, this watch is housed within a fine-brushed and polished grade-5 titanium case. Commanding attention with intricate, open-worked architecture, its translucent dial offers a captivating window into the working mechanics within.

As with the new Monaco Chronographs, the crown is also positioned at 9 o’clock, maintaining the collection’s distinctive asymmetry whilst accommodating the watch’s revolutionary reversed movement construction. Positioned on the dial are two chronograph counters at 3 and 9 o’clock, available in blue or black – a striking visual signature transposed over the movement mechanisms that pays homage to the collection’s racing heritage.

The reverse of the timepiece is equally impressive, featuring a large sapphire exhibition caseback that reveals the full splendour of the 322-component movement beneath. The TAG Heuer Monaco Evergraph is completed with a choice of two rubber straps – blue or black – each featuring a refined textile pattern that balances sportive elegance with everyday wearability.

A New Movement for a New Age: The TH80-00

At the heart of the TAG Heuer Monaco Evergraph lies the revolutionary Calibre TH80-00, a new in-house movement that represents a quantum leap in chronograph technology. This exceptional mechanism operates through a compliant mechanism featuring flexible components, delivering chronograph functionality with unprecedented smoothness and precision.

Central to the Calibre TH80-00 is the signature TH-Carbonspring oscillator, a groundbreaking innovation that requires no adjustment and remains impervious to shocks and accelerations. The movement achieves anti-magnetic performance at ten times the ISO norm, ensuring unwavering accuracy regardless of environmental interference. Full ceramic ball bearings further enhance the movement's resilience and longevity.

With an automatic winding system delivering a generous 70-hour power reserve, the Calibre TH80-00 ensures that the TAG Heuer Monaco Evergraph is always ready for action – a fitting powerhouse for a timepiece that embodies the future of haute horlogerie.
