In 2021, Montblanc paid tribute to the visionary Enzo Ferrari. Made from red precious resin, the edition symbolizes the beginning of Enzo Ferrari´s passion for motor racing. Its colour is inspired by the special Colour "Rosso 70 Anni" which is a special red colour developed when the Scuderia Ferrari celebrated its 70th birthday representing various iconic red tones throughout the years. The back of the cap shows the prancing horse, the famous emblem of Ferrari cars. The clip in metal is adorned with a famous quote by Enzo: “You cannot describe passion, you can only live it.”

In 2022, Montblanc honoured one of the most celebrated musicians of the 20th century: Jimi Hendrix. Made from precious resin, the off white colour of the cap and its engraved pattern is inspired by one of the guitar straps worn by Hendrix, while the black barrel features an elegant pattern resembling a WAH pedal. The platinum-coated clip is angled to resemble the vibrato bar of an electric guitar. Another striking detail is the platinum-coated barrel ring which draws inspiration from a 1960´s guitar cable - it is engraved with the date of a famous Jimi Hendrix concert. The Meisterstück Around the World in 80 Days collection is inspired by the famous adventure novel by Jules Verne. The anthracite precious resin draws on the second leg of the journey from Bombay to Yokohama. The main characters travel in this part of the adventure on a majestic elephant, which is featured in a cartouche on the cap. The clip features a red lacquered diamond card suit and the cone is engraved with a pattern inspired by Princess Aouda's jewellery and the card suits, representing Mr. Fogg's wager to make the journey in 80 days. The cap top is embossed with the length of the journey, 25 days from Bombay to Yokohama and 80 days in total. The writing instrument is finished with a hand-crafted 14K gold nib garnished with the hot air balloon.

"Once upon a time..." The Montblanc Writers Edition Homage to Brothers Grimm is dedicated to Jacob and Wilhelm Grimm and celebrates their work on German and European folk tales. The overall silhouette of the writing instrument is shaped like an old hiking stick and the Black colour resembles the darkness of the woods which usually serve as the main stage for the Brothers Grimm´s folklore. In addition, the wave-like pattern on the cap and barrel is inspired by Rapunzel´s hair while also resembling roots as the Brothers Grimm viewed their linguistic work as "research into roots". The platinum-coated clip, reminiscent of a knobby piece of wood, surprisingly reveals the silhouette of the profile of the Brothers Grimm when turned. As an homage to the magic of storytelling, the handcrafted Au 750 solid gold nib with rhodium coating bears flames which were often the setting around which folklore stories were passed on.

The Montblanc Writers Edition Sir Arthur Conan Doyle Limited Edition is dedicated to one of the most renowned crime novelists and originator of the famous consulting detective Sherlock Holmes. Made from blue-grey precious resin, the edition evokes the sinister, foggy atmosphere of London, where Sherlock Holmes usually solves his cases. The cap and barrel of this edition are decorated with a plaid pattern in reference to Holmes’ coat, as well as parts of a historic London city map. The initials JB are found beneath the PVD-coated, magnifying glass-shaped clip in an homage to Joseph Bell: the very real man behind the Sherlock Holmes character.

The name Walt Disney is forever bound with the art of film animation and movie history. The overall shape of the writing instrument is inspired by the legendary Monorail system, while colours are a reference to the original poster from “Steamboat Willy” (1920) which depicts Mickey Mouse. The cap and barrel in matte black precious resin feature several hidden Mickeys and the signature of Walt Disney can be found on the cap top. A big significance in Disney's early career is celebrated with a set of coordinates engraved on the cone.
