La Vuelta takes over the PR 100 Chronograph collection! With its asphalt-grained black dial inspired by the road, and a bicycle-shaped second hand featuring the iconic colours of the competition, these beautiful timepieces from
Tissot are the perfect accessory for cycling aficionados.
Tissot has unveiled a new duo of watches inspired by two of the most prestigious cycling events in the world: the Tour de France and La Vuelta a España. These timepieces are based on the existing PR100 model, featuring grained black dials designed to resemble the roads of these iconic races.
The second hands pay homage to the races, with the Tour de France edition showcasing a yellow second hand, mirroring the leader's jersey colour, and the PR100 La Vuelta featuring a red second hand. Both watches have hands adorned with a bicycle icon.
Red and yellow accents are present on the sub-dial hands and along the edges of an additional strap included with each watch. Alongside the stainless steel bracelet, the secondary bi-material black strap mimics the texture of bicycle handle grips.
Each watch boasts a 40mm stainless steel case with a sapphire crystal front and an engraved Tour de France or La Vuelta logo on the case back. Powered by the Swiss-made G10.212 chronograph quartz movement, these watches are water-resistant up to 10 bar, equivalent to 100 meters or 330 feet.
The dial includes a date window at the 4:30 position, and the hour and minute hands are coated with luminescent Super-LumiNova for visibility in low light. The chronograph functions are managed with push buttons at the two and four o'clock positions, flanking the crown.
