Omega's Newest Seamaster: The Seamaster Aqua Terra 30mm

Posted on 19 June 2025

Swiss watchmaker OMEGA have just launched the new Aqua Terra Seamaster 30mm. With twelve new references featuring a mixture of five stainless steel models with polished and brushed bracelets. The Seamaster Aqua Terra 30mm joins a line of established Aqua Terra, and female timepieces from OMEGA.

The launch of the Seamaster Aqua Terra collection defines what time can look and feel like for women, hosting an impressive array of coloured dials, simplistic design and bejewelled bezels.

Paying homage to the traditional look of OMEGA seems to be the theme of recent launches from the Swiss watchmaker. More recently, the OMEGA Railmaster was launched in four new references featuring polished steel bracelets, a black and brown strap and two new dials.

Some key features of the newest addition to the Aqua Terra collection includes the striking display of coloured dials and the choice of various polished steel bracelets. With twelve new references, you can find a timepiece that suits your everyday.

Twenty-three years after its debut, the Aqua Terra has evolved once again, this time, for women looking for an elegant addition to their everyday. Presented in a 30-millimetre case, OMEGA have introduced a brand-new size for the Aqua Terra family, ideal for those looking for a more custom fit to the usual 28mm or 32mm wrist sizes.

The Seamaster Aqua Terra 30mm enters the Aqua Terra family with a brand-new movement, showcasing the continuous innovation of OMEGA and potential for other lines to venture into new movements.

‘The most beautiful part of the watch is the one you cannot immediately see, our new calibres represent OMEGA’s highest expression of engineering, hidden within yet defining the watch’s essence.’

Raynald Aeschlimann, President and CEO of OMEGA

The Aqua Terra Seamaster: A Glimpse into the Past

Introduced in 2002, the Omega Seamaster Aqua Terra was created as a more refined and versatile timepiece within the Seamaster Line. Whilst the Seamaster dates back to as early as 1948, the Aqua Terra collection offered a more simplistic look with clean lines and distinctive teak-pattern dial.

Unlike the original Seamasters, the Aqua Terra was not created as a specific dive watch, however, it still held an impressive water resistance of up to 150 meters, and boasts Omega’s innovative Co-Axial movements.

Models in Every Style for Every Woman

Characteristically OMEGA Aqua Terra, on a first glance, the Seamaster Aqua Terra 30mm collection is simple, understated and timeless for a timepiece. The dial is solid, with a single aperture for the day at the 6 o’clock position. The polished and brushed bracelets are simple and integrated with OMEGA’s patented screw-and-pin system, forming soft curves and a flowing look. However, it is when you separate this collection, you see the key differences in style and personality.

Steel Polished Brush Bracelet Models

The five stainless steel polished brushed bracelets,  references: O22010302001001, O22010302002001, O22010302003001and  O22010302010002 arrive to the collection with five beautifully elegant dials; white, black, deep blue and lavender. With applied hour markers, and the reference O22015302056001 marks  each hour with a diamond inside a diamond-set bezel, these references are ideal for those looking to honour the earlier OMEGA Aqua Terra models.

Two-Tone Moonshine Gold Models

Two references of the Seamaster Aqua Terra 30mm collection; O22020302002001 and O22025302055001 are crafted with 18K Moonshine Gold, formally seen in the OMEGA Speedmasters. The two tone accentuates the gold framing of the bezel, and is ideal for women who enjoy both silver and gold.

These two references feature two types of dials, with a luxe brown, mother of pearl and a deep cream. All three dials complement the multi-coloured bracelets perfectly, and offer a luxurious touch to the reference.

Two-Tone Sedna Gold Model

Perhaps the most unique reference out of the Seamaster Aqua Terra 30mm is the reference O22020302063001. Featuring a two-tone of stainless steel and Sedna Gold, this deep brown dial quietly demands luxury. With each hour marker signified with a diamond, and the hands also crafted in Sedna Gold, we suspect this reference will be a popular choice for those wanting elegant luxury.

Three references of the OMEGA Seamaster Aqua Terra 30mm feature in solid 18K Moonshine. The reference O22050302008001 is a look of simple elegance. The gold dial and gold casing and bracelet is a monochrome of beauty. Ideal for those who prefer a subtle touch of grace.

References O22055302055001 and O22055302060001 offer a slightly more luxurious look. With a gem-set bezel and option between a mother-of-pearl dial or a deep green dial, and hours marked by diamonds, these two references are perfect for those wanting to a vintage inspired statement.

Featuring Two New Chronometer Movements

The interior of the OMEGA Aqua Terra is a nod to the Swiss watchmaker’s continuous innovation to horological excellence. The new movement is a great addition to the new timepieces, showcasing OMEGA’s innovative technology.

Each timepiece is powered by one of two new Chronometer movements, both with a 20mm diameter designed specifically for the 30mm case. The Calibre 8750 (with a thickness of 3.98mm) for the stainless steel and two tone models and Calibre 8751 (with a thickness of 4.08mm) for the Sedna and Moonshine gold models.

The new movements feature the iconic OMEGA Co-Axial escapement, free-sprung balance with silicon balance spring and automatic winding in both directions. In line with the history of OMEGA, it is not surprising that these new references also offer a magnetic resistance of up to 15,000 gauss and more than 48 hours of power reserve.
