South West luxury jeweller and watch-retailer, Michael Spiers, has made its TV advertising debut on Sky TV – especially for Christmas.
Also showing in local independent cinemas, including the Plaza Cinema Truro, Lighthouse Cinema in Newquay and Cineworld Plymouth, and featuring on the jeweller’s website and social media channels, the Christmas campaign is running until Christmas Eve this year.
The advert was filmed in Cornwall, where the Michael Spiers journey began, using a local cinematographer and local actors against the stunning backdrop of the Cornish coast and tells the tale of two lovers who cannot be without one another. We see their relationship blossom and stand the test of time having begun their journey as childhood friends. As the couple grow, they become lifelong partners, and the story culminates in a proposal of marriage.
There’s a clear message from this heart-warming advert and that is that jewellery doesn’t just make a great gift but is a symbol of friendship and affection, representing a lifetime of treasured moments and milestones.
Commenting on the Christmas campaign, Adam Spiers, Managing Director, said:
“We are very proud to have made our advertising debut on Sky TV and in local cinemas this year. We pride ourselves on heritage, quality, and exceptional customer experience. The advert really emphasises that sentiment and connects with everyone on an emotional level, capturing the magic of togetherness at Christmas.”
