With another royal wedding just around the corner you too can have a personalised ring fit for a princess. Here at Michael Spiers we have our own jewellery workshop where we can work with you to create something bespoke and perfect for your fiance.
Prince Harry recently proposed to the actress, Meghan Markle, with a gorgeous three stone ring which he designed himself, which featured jewels that previously belonged to his mother, Princess Diana, as well as a stone from Botswana, where the couple spent time visiting when they first started dating.
Prince Harry wasn’t the only royal to design his own engagement ring or incorporate a family heirloom. The Duke of Edinburgh designed an engagement ring for the Queen in 1947. The Duke had the ring made using diamonds from a tiara belonging to his mother, Princess Alice of Greece. When Prince William proposed to Kate Middleton, now the Duchess of Cambridge, he gave her Princess Diana’s famous sapphire and diamond engagement ring.
If you’re wanting to follow their regal footsteps, why not book an appointment with our specialists to begin designing your bespoke ring. Whether you are wanting to include your very own special stone or want to revive a family heirloom, we will ensure we create your dream piece from design, to sourcing the perfect stone and handcrafting the item in our very own workshop.
