Aloha from Breitling: Surfing the Waves with the Superocean

Posted on 8 September 2025

Breitling's appreciation for the skies were seen in their impressive classic AVI and Navitimer collections, first launching in the 1950s, but the Superocean collection is where the Swiss-horological experts pioneered their advancements to the sea.

The Superocean Heritage collection launched in 1957 with two ground-breaking dive watches; the ref. 1004, a sleek, time-only diver and the ref. 807, a chronograph built for diving purposes. These two new timepieces embodied two different visions of nautical sport and exploration, for style and for performance.

Today, the Superocean collection features four sub-collections, built with distinctive designs, automatic movements and ceramic bezels. These innovative and stylish timepieces breathe a wave of fresh air into Breitling with their ‘Aloha State of Mind’.

“The newest additions to the Breitling Superocean Heritage collections are fresh, exciting and pay homage to the designs of the 1950s and 1960s. They are a great timepiece that balances style with purpose."
